Built for a safer demo

SafeGuard combines browser-based safety tools for a college project. The AI-Based name describes the project concept; no AI model or automatic threat detection runs here.

Real browser features

Camera snapshots, GPS coordinates, and device acceleration use your browser's permission-based APIs. Access may require HTTPS or localhost and may be blocked inside an embedded preview.

Simulated emergency workflow

Emergency and fall buttons start a 15-second demonstration countdown. At zero, an SOS draft becomes ready. Nothing is sent, and no emergency service is contacted.

Your privacy

Contacts, settings, and history stay in local browser storage. The SOS number stays in this browser session. Camera photos stay in memory until downloaded or the page closes.

Run as a single file

Choose Download HTML, save the file as index.html, and open it in a modern browser. It contains all styles and JavaScript with no dependencies. For reliable sensor permissions, serve the file on localhost or HTTPS.

This demonstration is not a certified safety system. Timers may be delayed in background tabs. Do not rely on it in a real emergency.
